Hello there! Welcome to my blog! The Pink Aficionada is where I get the opportunity to share printables and freebies, as well as bits and pieces of my life, whilst developing my graphics designing skills. If you love DIY, snail mail, beauty and tips, then you'll feel right at home here.
I started this blog because I needed a 'safe-haven' and a 'break' from reality sometimes, and I feel this blog gives me just that, as I get to share content and interact with others who have the same interests as I do.
- One of my nicknames is 'Titanic'. Yes, I can be a disaster.
- 'OMG' is probably the word I use most frequently in conversations.
- I get high whenever I enter crafts/stationery stores.
- I'm the type of person who acts sassy and cheeky, but if you say something mean to me, there's a 101% chance I'll cry.
- I wilt in real-life social situations.
- I think cheek kisses are really, really cute.
- The third love of my life is hot chocolate, after pink being the second and God being the first.
I am in no way a professional graphics designer, but I have been 'experimenting' with Adobe Photoshop for five years now. I am self-taught and when I started out, YouTube videos and internet tutorials were my best friends (they still are :P). I am currently trying to figure out Adobe Illustrator. I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 at the moment.
